Mail will not be opened unless it is requested by the resident and/or the next of kin. Staff may open and read mail to residents or write letters for residents at the resident’s request. The request will be recorded on the Resident Care Plan.

The administration staff may open envelopes containing cheques in preparation for deposit.

Incoming mail will be distributed to each resident. Outgoing mail may be delivered to the Canada Post mail box located outside the front entrance or to the Administration Office.
